Well... Grey's Anatomy has Callie and Arizona... a lesbian couple and the only reason for me to still watch the show... their relationship developed now over nearly 2 seasons and I still love them to NO end... Jessica and Sara are doing a REALLY great job in this, but to be honest: I don't think they would ever bring a gay couple in there... which means 2 male characters hooking up... the "lesbian way" was the waaaaaaay more easy way for the writers of "Grey's Anatomy" I think... And To be honest: I couldn't have been pictured ANY of the existing characters to become gay... okay, it was a surprise with Callie either, but it was very well written, how it all started out with friendship and confusing feelings and so on ;-)
But back to Hawaii Five-0... I really really love what Steve and Danny have and like I wrote: I don't care if they hook up with women from time to time, as long as there is no "getting married" and "having kids" involved... that mostly destroys a lot...
I had this "back then" when I was watching 21 Jump Street... Tom and Doug had soooooo much chemistry and there was some "bromance" definitely too... and such slashy comments, even if the show aired over 20 years ago (around 1987 I think)... thing is: When Tom and Doug both got into "serious relationships" this all kinda stopped and i hated it... and I don't understand why there MOSTLY have to be something like that "involved" at all and why the lead characters always have to get into a serious relationship after a while?
But as long as it's not happening in H 5-0, I shouldn't complain at all :D
