I was thinking about that whole Steve and Catherine relationship thing the writers threw in there and it occurred to me that maybe they not only threw that in there to show how Steve likes girls, but also because at some point she maybe will turn against Steve and help some bad guys out or something. In that case Steve would be all hurt and burned by a woman and the rest of the season (and hopefully any future seasons) would be just Steve, single-guy, and the ambiguously gay relationship between him and Danny.
